Promote filtered documents
You can promote documents from a successful filter job. When you promote documents using the Within Set deduplication option, if any of the documents in the selected document set were already promoted, the system first deduplicates against the documents in the selected document set and then deduplicates against the documents in Review. In this case, the system does not promote any documents that are already in Review. If you want to keep only the specific custodian's documents in Review, perform the following actions.

In Review, conceal the documents that were already promoted. Refer to Conceal documents for more information.

After concealing documents, they will only be available in Inspect.

In Inspect, promote the documents using the Within Set deduplication option.
Perform the following procedure to promote documents.
- In the Main Menu, select >.
- View the filter jobs.
- Select
one or more filter jobs.
- Click .
- In the dialog box, select how to process duplicates.
- - Includes duplicates.
- - Includes only unique filtered documents in the collection while deduplicating against the documents in Review.
- - Includes only unique filtered documents assigned to each custodian while deduplicating against the documents in Review.
- - Deduplicates against the documents in the selected document set and then deduplicates against the documents in Review.
- Click .

Each filter job shows the following information derived during the filter process.
The filter job name. | |
The name of the filter template. Click this name to view the template information. | |
The user selected as the custodian. | |
A list of the selected sources to filter. | |
The date and time the filter job completed. | |
The number of unique documents that matched the filter. | |
The number of duplicated documents not included by the filter. |
